Job seekers will have a chance to show off their skills at Saratoga’s Job Fair on May 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the City Center.
The expo is free to the public and more than 85 businesses representatives will be available to accept applications and answer questions from job seekers. The career building expo will feature occupations of all levels with educational requirements ranging from a high school diploma or GED to all levels of college degrees, said job fair board president Danelle Healy. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. and throughout the day faculty from Mildred Elley Business School will teach career building programs in the fields of medical studies, massage therapy, paralegal, information technology and hospitality. Numerous employment counselors will be available to discuss resume building, interviewing skills and will answer questions the public may have. Those who attend are encouraged to bring several copies of their resume.
