Saratoga Springs – Carol Ann Czajkowski of King Arthur Court South passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 63.

Born on March 1, 1945 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angela (Matera) Vitetta. A graduate of Albany High School, she had served as a teacher’s aide for the Saratoga Springs City School District for several years. Carol enjoyed music, singing, dancing and especially her role as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one brother, Joseph Vitetta, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of over 42 years, Patrick Czajkowski, whom she married on Oct. 1, 1965; four sons, Patrick (wife Kristen) Czajkowski, Jr., of Saratoga Springs, Joseph Czajkowski of Seattle, WA, Christopher (wife Sarah) Czajkowski of Milford, PA and Jeffrey (wife Tammy) Czajkowski of South Glens Falls; one daughter, Courtney (husband Matt) Stanger of Saratoga Springs; seven grandchildren, Daryn, Alex, Jack, Connor, John Patrick (J.P.), Tanyon and Paige; her sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Michael Craig and brother and sister-in-law, Pasquale and Esther Vitetta, all of Albany; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends gathered on Monday, April 14, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes in Saratoga Springs.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway in Saratoga by the Rev. Michael G. Cambi, associate pastor.

Burial followed in St. Peter’s Cemetery, West Avenue in Saratoga Springs.
