Saratoga Springs – Jeanne T. (Walthers) Coleman passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Saratoga Hospital Nursing Home. She was 79.

Born Nov. 9, 1928 in Cohoes, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary B. Couette Walthers. Jeanne was a member of The Church of St. Peter in Saratoga Springs. In her spare time she loved to read.

In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Coleman, Jr., one daughter, Deborah Coleman and one son, Jeffrey Coleman.

Survivors include her son, Joseph A. Coleman III of Dayton, OH; her daughter, Cynthia Coleman House of Ballston Spa; grandchildren, Caitlin Buck and Joseph A. Coleman IV of Dayton, OH, Ian, Brenden and Darrien House of Ballston Spa and a great-grand-daughter, Evelyn Rose Buck of Dayton, OH.

Relatives and friends gathered on Monday, April. 7, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway in Saratoga Springs.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at The Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs. The Rev. Michael G. Cambi officiated. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waterford, NY.
