Estella E. (Pepper) Boyce

 

Saratoga Springs, NY – Estella E. (Pepper) Boyce of North Broadway passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008 at her residence. She was 97.

 

Born on July 24, 1910 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter Garfield and Alice Mildred (Dunn) Pepper and was a lifelong resident. She attended Saratoga Springs schools and was a member of the Bethesda Episcopal Church and also the American Legion Adirondack Post 70 Ladies Auxiliary.

 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of over 66 years, Charles O. Boyce, who died Sept. 1, 1998 and her daughter Marcia, who died Oct. 15, 1994.

 

Survivors include several cousins.

 

Private funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway by the Rev. Thomas T. Parke, Rector of Bethesda Episcopal Church. Burial will be in the family plot at Greenridge Cemetery, Lincoln Avenue, Saratoga Springs.

 

Memorials may be made in Estella’s name to Bethesda Episcopal Church, 41 Washington Street, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. 12866 or to a charity of one’s choice.
