The third annual Adirondack Sports & Fitness Summer Expo is back at the Saratoga Springs City Center on Friday-Sunday, April 18-20, 2008 with a huge selection of exhibitors plus exciting demos, seminars, sales and family activities.

The Adirondack Sports & Fitness Summer Expo provides consumers with 125 exhibitors offering the best and the largest selection of outdoor gear, products and services. Retailers, manufacturers, professionals and organizations representing outdoor recreation, health, fitness and travel will be on hand, featuring everything from bicycling to kayaking, running, hiking, camping, triathlon, health, fitness, clothing, gear, outdoor getaways and events.

More than 5,000 outdoor recreation enthusiasts are expected at this three-day Expo to discover what’s new for 2008 and to take part in our interactive show features. Outdoor retailers, manufacturers and clubs will offer great sales, product demos and events/membership opportunities. Health and fitness professionals will share their expertise and encouragement, and travel exhibitors will present nearby day trips, family adventures and great expeditions.

Twenty kayaking, canoeing and rowing clinics and demos will take place all weekend in the giant 20x35 foot pool. The 25-foot rock climbing wall will challenge visitors to test their vertical skills to the top of the wall.

Twenty informative seminars will be led by Adirondack Sports & Fitness magazine contributing writers and regional experts. The Expo will include a family-friendly children’s area. WEQX (102.7) radio will be broadcasting live from “Camp EQX” during the event.

The Summer Expo is brought to you by Adirondack Sports & Fitness, a Clifton Park based free distribution magazine with a monthly circulation of 22,000 copies. The locally-owned, independent publication covers individual aerobic sports and fitness throughout the Capital-Saratoga Region, Adirondacks and surrounding areas. Since 2000, it has been a resource for outdoor sports and fitness enthusiasts in the region.

The Adirondack Sports & Fitness Summer Expo will take place Friday, April 18 from 5-9 p.m., Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday, April 20 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Saratoga Springs City Center. Admission is only $5 for adults/teens and is free for children 12 and under.
