Rhoda Zetta Wadsworth

 

Wilton – Rhoda Zetta Wadsworth of Gordon Lane died at home Thursday, March 13, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. She was 70.

 

Born March 11, 1938 in Ticonderoga, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Laura (Cook) Osier. She worked at Glens Falls Hospital, retiring in 2001. Rhoda loved to travel and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting and baking. She was a member of the Soul Saving Station for Every Nation Church.

 

In addition to her parents, Rhoda is predeceased by her brother Francis Osier.

 

Survivors include her eight children, Cindy (David) Hannon, Laura (Gary) Childs, Jay (Erika) Wadsworth, Rhonda (Randy) Sargent, John (Cathy) Wadsworth, Darryl (Yvette) Wadsworth, Craig Wadsworth, Valarie Wadsworth; two brothers, Walter and Earl Osier; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 

Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 12noon on Monday, Mar. 17, 2008 at the Soul Saving Station for Every Nation Church, 62 Henry St., Saratoga Springs. A funeral service will begin at 12noon, officiated by Bishop Arnold Joseph Byrd.

 

Burial will be in the spring at Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, NY.

 

Memorials may be made to the Soul Saving Station for Every Nation Church, PO Box 104, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY (584-5373).
