Middle Grove, NY - MaryAnn L. (Strock) Phelps, 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday (Mar. 29, 2008) at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on Oct. 5, 1943 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Theresa and Peter Strock Sr.

MaryAnn enjoyed cooking for her family, spending time with her grandchildren and had a warm heart that touched all that knew her. She was a member of the Women's Bowling League at Hi-Roc Lanes and the American Legion Auxiliary Adirondack Post 70.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Reginald "Jack" Phelps. She is the adored mother of Richard Phelps (Christine) of Ballston Spa, Rhonda  Diggins (Robert) of Ballston Lake, Ryan Phelps of Burnt Hills and Robin Phelps (Stephen Gilbert) of Ballston Lake.

MaryAnn is the beloved grandmother of Caitlin and Rachel Phelps and Nathan and Eric Diggins.

She is sister to Linda Austin of Watervliet, Elsie Haffner of St. Cloud, FL and Peter Strock Jr. of Schenectady. She is also survived by many other family members and friends and was also predeceased by siblings; Valerie, Allen and Richard Strock.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Wednesday in St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Ave, Ballston Spa, by the Rev. Thomas Kelly, pastor.
