Greenwich - Police continue to search for 12-year-old Jaliek Rainwalker.

Rainwalker went missing on Nov. 2.

Cambridge-Greenwich Police Chief George Bell said Thursday that 10 divers from the State Police, Washington County Sheriffs and Warren County Sheriffs were searching the Battenkill River.

Chief Bell has reached out to America’s Most Wanted and put Jaliek on the missing child’s Web site.

The chief said they are still concentrating the search in the Capital District area. The police are having daily briefings on the search.

“We said from the start he is a runaway,” Bell said. “We can’t eliminate anything though.”

Bell said there have been no reports of break-ins that would indicate Jaliek is seeking shelter and food. He added the weather is a big factor with November cold hitting the region.

Bell said Jaliek is a 12-year-old that weighs 105 pounds, with green eyes and is 5-foot-6.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the Cambridge-Greenwich Police at 692-9332.
