Saratoga Springs – Barbara Palso died Monday, June 30, 2008 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 62.

Born May 28, 1946 in Framingham, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Madeline Carver Stapleton. Barbara attended Framingham North High School, graduating in 1964. She received a nursing degree from the Framingham School of Nursing. Barbara attended Northeastern University where she earned her degree in radiology. She worked at numerous hospitals as an X-ray technician including three years at Kayser Hospital in Hawaii and Albany Medical Center Hospital. Barbara was an excellent cook and loved to read and work in her garden. She loved her pets, especially her German shepherd “George.”

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-son, William Palso.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Donald Palso of Saratoga Springs; two daughters, Darlene Bootier and her husband Robert of Ballston Spa and Kimberly Palso of Saratoga Springs; two step-sons, Donald Palso, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Columbia, SC and Eric Palso and his wife Nomi of Fredericksburg, VA; a sister, June Fraize and her husband Robert of Ashland, NH; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends gathered on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes in Saratoga Springs followed by a funeral service.

Burial followed in Greenridge Cemetery, Lincoln Avenue in Saratoga Springs.
