Lucy Barry
Wilton – Lucy Barry of Heather Drive died early Saturday morning, June 7, 2008 at her home after a courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Nov. 25, 1933 in Auburn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Laura (Addabbo) Netti and had worked as a real estate broker for Welbourne & Purdy and more recently with Roohan Realty, both of Saratoga Springs. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Greater Capital District Association of Realtors and St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church. Her interests included spending winter months in Florida, drawing and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. Most of all she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Donald Barry, whom she married on Aug. 13, 1960; her children and their spouses, Donna (Willard “Iain”) Morse of Wilton, Debra Barry and David E. (Leslie) Barry, all of Saratoga Springs; her sisters, Angela Bergan and Antoinette Viscardi, both of Auburn, NY; and her grandchildren, Brooke (14), Andrea (12) and Mark (7) Barry of Saratoga Springs and Brett Morse (6) of Wilton. Relatives and friends gathered on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes in Saratoga Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Clement’s Church by the Rev. Joseph C. Tizio, pastor. Burial followed in St. Peter’s Cemetery, West Avenue in Saratoga Springs.
