Angela Frances MacLean
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada – Angela Frances MacLean passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the McCall Center for Continuing Care after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Born on September 22, 1933, in Montreal, Quebec, Angela lived in Montreal for many years. After a brief stint in Western Canada (Winnipeg and Calgary), Angela returned to Montreal before settling in Mississauga, Ontario (just outside of Toronto) where she lived for 30 years. Angela held long-term employment at Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Montreal and the Ministry of Community and Social Services, Child Care Unit in Mississauga. She enjoyed her work and made many long lasting friendships with her co-workers. Angela loved the ocean, music, lively conversation, beach vacations to Cuba, her two sons, her family, her cat Claudius and many dear friends. Angela is survived by her sons Perry James MacLean of New York City, Colin Scott MacLean and his wife Christel, of Saratoga Springs, NY, and her beloved granddaughter, Lucy Grace MacLean also of Saratoga Springs. Angela is also survived by three sisters: Belinda Eisenberg and her husband Nathaniel, of Saratoga Springs; Bernardine Stephens of Saratoga Springs; Kathleen Cusack and her husband Kevin Flynn, of Windsor, Ontario; her niece Kelly Ryan of New York City; her nephew Bart Stephens of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and his father, Lawrence Stephens of Monroe, New York. Angela was predeceased by her parents James and Annette Cusack and her husband, Arman Nubile. There are no calling hours. The family will hold of celebration of Angela’s life later this month. |
