Angela D. Griffin-Canterino
Angela D. Griffin-Canterino of Woodlawn Avenue passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 45. Born on October 26, 1962 in Athens, Alabama, she attended Athens Bible School and graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1981. She was a homemaker and was self-employed as a caterer. Angela enjoyed cooking, music and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her mother Faye Dollins of Decatur, Alabama; her father and stepmother, Frank and Diane Griffin of Greencastle, PA; one son, Nicholas Canterino of Saratoga Springs; a brother Chad (Jean) Griffin of Saratoga Springs; a sister-in-law, Melissa Drislane of Schenectady; stepsister, Cherie Crim of Dallas,TX; nephews Max Griffin and Connor Drislane; nieces Emma and Rachel Drislane, one stepdaughter Tina (Jon) Honig of Detroit MI and two stepsons, Christopher (Rachael) Canterino of Philadelphia, PA and Joseph (Traci) Canterino of Allentown, PA. Angela is also survived by three aunts and two uncles. She was predeceased by her brother, Brett Griffin. Relatives and friends gathered on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the William J. Burke and Sons/ Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes in Saratoga Springs. A funeral service will be held this morning, Friday, May 16, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenridge Cemetery, Lincoln Avenue, Saratoga Springs. Memorials may be made to the F.
